Position Summary

TaxAct is seeking an experienced Senior Paid Social Specialist to provide hands-on campaign execution and optimization during our tax-season marketing cycle. Working closely with the Senior Manager of Paid Social and broader media team, this role will help manage paid social campaigns across Brand and Performance objectives, with a strong focus on accurate execution, creative rotation, campaign health, and in-season optimization.

The ideal candidate is highly experienced working directly within paid social platforms and can quickly translate strategy into effective campaign execution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage hands-on campaign execution across Meta and TikTok, including campaign setup, QA, and other duties related to ongoing maintenance and updates.

Monitor and optimize campaign performance, including budget pacing, frequency, creative fatigue, bids, budgets, audiences, and other campaign-health indicators, proactively identifying issues and opportunities.

Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights, testing ideas, and optimization recommendations that support Brand and Performance objectives.

Partner with paid social leadership and cross-functional teams to support campaign planning, reporting validation, measurement processes, and other seasonal execution needs.

Qualifications

Significant hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns in different parts of the funnel, particularly across Meta and TikTok.

Strong understanding of campaign trafficking, QA, creative management, audience management, budget pacing, and optimization.

Strong analytical skills and data literacy with the ability to translate campaign performance into actionable recommendations.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience collaborating with media, creative, analytics, and data teams.

Familiarity with social reporting and measurement tools.

Workload Expectations

Pre-season (November–December): 40 hours per week (full-time)

Focus on pre-season campaign builds, trafficking and creative planning, test setup, and launch readiness.

Peak season (January–April): 40 hours per week (full-time)

Focus on daily campaign management, QA, creative trafficking and rotation, optimization, monitoring, and performance reporting.

Success Measures

Success will be measured by accurate and timely campaign execution, consistent campaign monitoring and creative rotation, proactive optimization, and contribution toward year-over-year improvement in Brand and Performance outcomes, including Qualified Site Visits, Cost per QSV, QSV Rate, Unique Reach, Account Sign-Ins, Tax Return Starts, and Tax Return Completes.
