Entertainment / Acting-Industry Clients. Remote. Part-Time, Flexible Schedule.

We work often with acting coaches, acting schools, and performers-turned-entrepreneurs. If you've spent real time around actors (self-tapes, castings, headshots, a black box theater, a green room), you'll feel at home here. You don't need to be an actor yourself, but you should already speak the language, or be genuinely pulled toward this world.

CMM is video-first, so this starts with real comfort in short-form video. You already know how to turn raw footage into something with a strong hook, decent pacing, and clean captions. That part isn't something we're set up to teach from scratch. Everything else, our clients, our systems, and eventually running an account on your own, is exactly what you'll grow into here.

Compensation: $1,800 to $2,050 per month once fully ramped across all three accounts, phased in as you onboard each one. Roughly 22 to 24 hours a week once fully ramped.

This is a hands-on content role first, with real ownership of the workflow around that content, not just coordinating other people or waiting for work to be handed to you. You'll build content plans, write captions and hooks, create graphics, edit short-form video, direct heavier edits, schedule posts, and manage the moving pieces: client requests, deadlines, approvals, editor handoffs, publishing QA, reporting, and day-to-day communication.

Your job is to create a clear monthly content plan, content requests for the client, hooks, talking points, captions, stories, polls, CTAs, and graphics, video concepts and edits you can execute yourself, editing direction for heavier videos handled by another editor, a realistic production and approval schedule, and the follow-ups and future ideas that need to be captured. You're expected to become the person who can take the strategy and make the content machine run without the team lead having to recreate the plan or manage every detail afterward.

What This Role Owns: This role follows the full cycle: strategy call, content plan, content requests, content creation and editing, internal review, client approval, publishing, and reporting. Once trained, you should be able to look at an account and know what needs to happen next, what's missing, what's slipping, and what needs your attention.

Core Responsibilities Hands-on, video-first content creation (a major part of the role): turn strategy and client conversations into strong social concepts; write hooks, captions, CTAs, talking points, story copy, polls, and DM follow-up language; create branded social graphics and simple carousels in Canva; independently edit routine short-form video in CapCut or similar; shape raw talking-head footage into polished Reels with strong hooks, clean pacing, and clear captions; review raw client footage and identify the strongest moments, clips, angles, and hooks; make judgment calls on cuts, on-screen text, captions, framing, B-roll, references, and watchability; repurpose existing client footage into new content, not just newly recorded material; research relevant topics, trends, industry conversations, or supporting material; create or coordinate weekly emails and newsletters where email is in scope; build stories and polls tied to current content, offers, or services.

Content planning: build monthly plans from strategy calls, client priorities, inventory, and timely opportunities; decide what runs now vs. later; keep the month balanced around late content, client-initiated posts, or timely trends; watch for when a social topic should also support email, an offer, or paid creative.

Creative quality control: hooks, pacing, captions, cropping, color, stock choices, brand fit, and overall polish; know the difference between technically finished and actually client-ready; give clients practical recording feedback on audio, lighting, framing, and delivery.

Account and workflow ownership: manage workflows in ClickUp and Metricool end to end; keep your client's calendars, task statuses; make sure every request has a clear due date with real lead time; follow up on missing assets before they become downstream problems; keep operations running when the team lead is out of office, on set, or has limited availability.

Client communication: content requests and deadlines, following up on missing content or approvals, routine updates, answering routine questions, keeping it warm, clear, and specific. The team lead stays involved for sensitive issues, major pivots, or anything needing their authority or the client relationship directly. When something needs to come to them, bring the full picture and a recommendation.

Publishing and community management: schedule and publish via Metricool and native platforms; QA every batch (captions, hashtags, toggles, timing, covers, client-specific requirements); confirm content actually goes live; handle assigned stories, polls, light engagement, and DM follow-up; maintain link-in-bio information where in scope.

Reporting and performance awareness: prepare monthly or quarterly reports depending on the account; pull accurate metrics and screenshots; flag missing data early; pull content learnings from performance; stay aware of paid ad performance where it affects creative, CTAs, or lead quality.

Current Account Mix: Three entertainment-focused accounts, each with a different shape.

Account A: a higher-volume, video-first acting school. Content requests, graphics, captions, trend awareness, editor coordination, weekly client updates, publishing, monthly reporting, and awareness of a running paid campaign.

Account B: an acting coach, content-creation heavy. Interviews, Reels including video editing, graphics, stories and polls, weekly email or newsletter coordination, publishing, quarterly reporting, and adapting around a fast-moving calendar.

Account C: an acting coach or consultant, management-focused. Monthly planning from an existing content inventory, graphics, captions, polls, coordinating with our video editor (video editing is not required on this account), approval-window management, publishing QA, community management, and quarterly reporting. The exact mix may shift as CMM grows. Comfort applying the same content-ownership mindset to other founder-led, expert-led businesses matters more than memorizing this list.

What We're Looking For: Comfortable in, or genuinely pulled toward, the acting and entertainment world. You already know the language, or you're the type who'd learn it fast and enjoy it. Strong hands-on short-form video editing experience (CapCut, Premiere, or similar), with a portfolio showing raw footage turned into polished content. Strong hands-on social content creation experience, especially Instagram and Reels. Able to create videos with strong hooks, pacing, captioning, clean structure, and platform-aware formatting. Comfortable reviewing raw footage and shaping usable moments into content. Strong writing for hooks, captions, CTAs, stories, and conversational brand copy. Experience creating graphics in Canva. Strong creative instincts, able to explain why a choice works or doesn't. Able to direct and review another editor's work. Strong organization across multiple accounts. Client communication skills and professional judgment. Comfortable with Canva and Google Drive, and quick to learn ClickUp and Metricool. Comfortable making routine decisions independently once trained. Reliable communication during agreed working hours, even with flexible production time.

This Role Is Probably a Good Fit If: You genuinely like making video content, not just managing it. You can look at raw talking-head footage and immediately start seeing the hook, cuts, pacing, captions, and B-roll. You can listen to a strategy conversation and start seeing the posts and stories that could come from it. You notice when something's missing before someone asks. You can move between creative work and organization without dropping either. You can be warm with a client while still holding a deadline. You're comfortable saying "here's what happened, here's the impact, here's what I recommend." You care about the difference between technically finished and actually good. And genuinely, you want flexible, part-time work as a real choice, not a placeholder. Maybe you're building something of your own on the side, balancing other clients, raising a family, or your life just doesn't fit a standard 9-to-5. That's exactly who this is built for, not something you'd tolerate on your way to something else.

Schedule and Work Style: Remote. The flexibility here is real, not just a phrase. Most of the work happens on your own schedule, structured around firm content and client deadlines rather than fixed hours. Some daytime overlap with US Eastern Time is needed for client meetings and syncs. Recurring internal and client meetings are required. The role becomes increasingly autonomous as you learn the accounts.

Our Process: Early on, we'll ask you to complete a short, paid work sample using real material, not hypotheticals. We want to see actual work as soon as possible, not just talk about it.

Who This Role Is Really For, Long-Term: This works best for someone who genuinely wants flexible, part-time work, not as a compromise, but as the actual goal. Long‑term, as CMM grows, it's possible this role could grow into something bigger. We're not promising a timeline on that, and don't want to oversell it, but it's a real direction we're working toward, not a ceiling.

About Creatives Meet Marketing: CMM is a video-first marketing agency that helps founder-led and expert-led businesses turn what they know into content that actually moves the business forward: content strategy and creation, paid campaigns, email marketing, and the systems that keep marketing moving. We're a small team, so this role has real ownership. The team lead sets the strategy, and you turn it into great video‑first content that keeps the account moving.
