Are you a college student, former athlete, or marketing/sports management major looking for a high-impact, paid internship? Do you live and breathe paid social, Meta metrics, and sports?

Rosterhunter is a SaaS platform transforming the college athletic recruiting landscape. We are looking for a sharp, driven Marketing Intern to work directly with the founder and help run our paid acquisition strategy.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t a "fetch coffee" internship. While you will have full guidance and collaboration, you will be given real autonomy to help shape, execute, and monitor our Meta ad account from initial concept to optimization. If you want to build a massive, data-proven portfolio piece with a real software product, this is your sandbox.

What You'll Do

Campaign Execution: Work directly within Meta Ads Manager to set up, structure, and launch new ad campaigns targeting athletes, parents, and coaches.

Ideation & Creative Strategy: Brainstorm and map out compelling ad concepts, hooks, and angles that make users stop scrolling.

Performance Audits: Dive into the data of past and current campaigns to find out what’s working, where we are losing efficiency, and where the low-hanging fruit is.

Monitoring & Optimization: Track key performance indicators (ROAS, CAC, CTR) and collaborate on optimizing bids, audiences, and creatives to maximize budget efficiency.

Lean Strategy Testing: Learn to run smart, lean ad tests to validate hooks and concepts before scaling spend.

Who You Are

Locally Based: You live in the St. Petersburg / Tampa Bay area and are available for flexible, local in-person strategy alignment sessions.

Sports Minded: You have a deep understanding of or genuine passion for college sports, athletic recruiting, or the student‑athlete journey.

Meta‑Literate: You already know your way around Meta Ads Manager. You understand the basics of custom audiences, pixel tracking, and lookalikes, and you're ready to master them in a real-world setting.

Eager & Autonomous: You don’t want to be micromanaged. You are proactive, love solving puzzles, and aren’t afraid to bring new strategic ideas to the table.

Analytical + Creative: You enjoy looking at data to see why a campaign is performing, but you also have an eye for what makes an engaging visual hook.

Compensation & Commitment

Pay: $1,000/month stipend (An exceptionally competitive rate for top-tier student talent).

Format: Part‑time internship with flexible hours designed to easily fit around your university class schedule. Remote execution with local syncs in St. Pete.

How to Apply

Don't just send a generic resume. Drop us a quick note telling us about your connection to sports and – optional – a brief snapshot of a Meta ad campaign you’ve run, analyzed, or ideated (even in a class project or for fun) that you’re proud of.
