Paid Media Specialist Depop is a peer-to-peer circular fashion marketplace where anyone can buy, sell and discover secondhand fashion. Our mission is simple: to make fashion circular by making secondhand as exciting and rewarding as buying new. Founded in 2011, Depop's diverse community has helped move resale into the mainstream, where buying secondhand is no longer an alternative, but how people of different ages now engage with fashion. Today, more than 56 million registered users come to Depop to find great value, express their own personal style and give clothes a longer life. We believe that everything you want already exists, and our role is to help people discover it. Powered by a team of over 500 people, our company is headquartered in London, with offices in New York. In 2021, Depop became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Etsy – the global marketplace for unique and creative goods – and continues to operate as a standalone company. For more information, visit www.depop.com We aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, no matter who they are or where they're from. Just as our platform connects people globally, we believe our workplace should reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. We thrive on the power of different perspectives and experiences, knowing they drive innovation and bring us closer to our users. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer, providing employment opportunities without regard to age, ethnicity, religion or belief, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy or maternity, marriage and civil partnership, or any other protected status. We're continuously evolving our recruitment processes to ensure fairness and are open to accommodating any needs you might have.

We're looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our Paid Media team and help drive performance across our paid social channels. Reporting into the Paid Media Lead, you'll play a key role in executing, optimising and reporting on full-funnel campaigns – from awareness and app install through to conversion.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys optimising campaigns, and is excited to learn quickly while building their skills across a high volume of activity.

Our Paid Media team is a small but fast-moving group that works in a hybrid way across media buying, utilising both internal teams and external media agencies. Our paid social activity is fully managed in-house, giving the team hands-on ownership of campaign strategy, setup, optimisation, and performance. The team also has full ownership across the entire media funnel; from upper-funnel brand activity to lower-funnel performance campaigns.

What you'll be doing

Support in the day-to-day execution, optimisation and reporting of paid social across the funnel

Own the creative insights and reporting to a variety of stakeholders across the marketing org.

Assist in the development and own the execution of testing roadmaps across paid social channels, contributing ideas for creative, audience and bidding experiments.

Work closely with our creative and insights teams to align messaging and targeting strategies with campaign and business objectives.

Support the creation of creative briefs, including briefing and coordinating UGC (user-generated content) assets for paid media campaigns.

Monitor campaign performance, flagging key trends and making data-led optimisations to maximise a range of KPIs.

Help maintain and improve relationships with platform and agency partners.

Stay up to date with platform updates, new targeting capabilities and emerging tools to keep our paid social programs ahead of the curve.

Hands-on experience managing paid social activity on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest or similar platforms

Knowledge of performance KPIs and optimisation techniques across paid social.

Confident analysing campaign data and reporting on performance, with solid skills in Excel/Google Sheets and data visualisation tools.

Proactive, detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
