Marketing Role We are a small, agile marketing team. Everyone here takes ownership, develops their own strategies, and implements them. Since we consistently work with AI, we see significantly more growth opportunities than we can currently address. That's why we are looking for a:n entry-level professional after university, who is AI native, brings marketing know-how, and is eager to take on their own topics from the start.

You bring strong AI skills, good writing, and proximity to the target audience. You will learn the intricacies of the individual growth channels with us.

The position is initially for one year. We value long-term cooperation, so an extension or transition to a permanent position is desired.

Your Tasks

Find opportunities in our products. Together with the team, you will look at the website, app stores, content, jobboards, and the funnel up to premium and learn where the biggest levers for registrations and revenue lie.

Build and launch your own projects. You will implement landing pages, tests, and campaign building blocks with AI and bring them online yourself. No engineering tickets, no waiting for design.

Test and measure. You will help set up A/B tests, evaluate them with us, and learn how to draw the right conclusions from the results.

App Store Optimization. You will test screenshots, icons, titles, and descriptions.

Copy and messages. You will formulate what StudySmarter brings to learners so that it resonates with our target audience. Headlines on landing pages, ad copy, social content, and more.

Stay on the pulse of the target audience. You will track what is currently going viral on TikTok, Instagram, and Co., which formats and trends are pulling with students, and bring that into our campaigns.

Growing responsibility. Over time, you will take over small projects completely yourself, from idea to evaluation.

What the role is not

Not a classic design job. Taste is important, the manual execution runs via AI and freelancers.

Not a performance marketing job. Channels, budget, bidding, and attribution lie elsewhere in the team.

What you need for this role

Strong AI skills. You like working with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex and want to learn how to build and deploy agents and automation. You want to build and deploy yourself, not just write prompts.

Good copywriting. You write clearly and have a feel for what words resonate with students, from your own experience or because you can quickly get into it.

Sense for social trends. You know what is trending on social media, understand why some content goes viral and others don't, and are close to the target audience.

Independence and curiosity. You take on a topic and see it through, ask questions when you don't know how to proceed, and don't give up before something is finished.

Interest in numbers. You are ready to learn analytics tools and honestly evaluate tests, even if the result goes against your idea.

Marketing basic understanding is a plus. First contact with paid, SEO, or lifecycle helps, but it's not a must. You will learn the details with us.

Two things are required

German at native level. You write for our target audience on landing pages, in ads, in the app stores, and offline. Real language feeling is necessary.

First own projects that you can show. A blog, an Instagram account, a university campaign, a side project. This tells us more than a resume.
