Own paid and lifecycle acquisition for our online store and SO2 Monitoring Membership, with full accountability for CAC and conversion.
Most people don't realize how exposed their home is to power surges and outages until something breaks. The Growth Marketing Manager helps them understand the risk early and makes SO2 Power™ the obvious choice for protection.
You'll own acquisition and lifecycle marketing for our online store and the SO2 Monitoring Membership, from paid search and social to email, SMS, and SEO. You'll be accountable for measurable results: customer acquisition cost, conversion rate, and lifetime value.
This is a remote role within Texas with occasional time in our Houston office. You'll work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success, and you'll help decide where we invest as we expand into new Texas markets.
What you'll do — Plan and manage paid search, paid social, and retargeting campaigns across Google and Meta
— Build and improve email and SMS lifecycle programs in Klaviyo
— Run A/B tests on landing pages, pricing, bundles, and checkout flow
— Grow SEO and content programs around home power resilience and storm preparedness
— Report weekly on CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, and customer lifetime value
— Manage the growth marketing budget and outside agency partners
What you'll bring — 4+ years of performance or growth marketing experience at a DTC or e-commerce brand
— Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, and Klaviyo
— Strong analytical skills; comfortable with spreadsheets and attribution models
— Must reside in Texas; occasional travel to the Houston office required
Your first year 01 Within 90 days, audit all paid channels and launch a structured testing roadmap
02 Within 6 months, lower blended CAC by 20% while growing monthly new customers
03 Within 12 months, build a storm-preparedness content program that ranks in the top three for key Texas searches
Our goal
Keep every home and small business powered, protected, and prepared. Along the Gulf Coast, the power grid is a daily concern. Hurricanes, winter storms, and summer peak demand have made outages longer and more frequent, and families and small businesses are left paying for spoiled food, damaged electronics, lost revenue, and medical equipment that stops working.
SO2 Power™ was founded in Houston to solve that. We design and sell surge protection, backup power, and energy monitoring that are affordable, simple to install, and backed by real people. Our goal is to protect 100,000 Texas homes and businesses by 2030 and to set the standard for how everyday customers prepare for grid instability.
Every role on our team contributes directly to that goal. We are still small enough that each hire changes how we build products, serve customers, and grow as a company.

Company culture
How we work. We are a small, practical team. We care about doing the work well, being honest with customers and with each other, and making decisions that hold up during the worst week of the year, not just the best one.
Customers first, always When the power goes out, our customers are counting on us. We make decisions based on what keeps them safe and supported, even when it isn't the easiest path.
We share context openly, disagree respectfully, and give direct feedback. Good ideas win regardless of title.
Show up for each other Storm season is intense. We plan ahead, share the load, and make sure no one carries a crisis alone.
Rooted in Houston We hire locally, work with Texas installers and suppliers, and volunteer during recovery efforts in the communities we serve.
