Job description
Growth Marketing Director
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and hands-on Growth Marketing Director to lead an integrated growth marketing strategy and drive measurable business impact.
This is a high-visibility, player-coach role for a senior marketer who enjoys connecting strategy to execution. You will shape priorities, personally lead high-value initiatives, and partner with internal teams and outside specialists to improve demand generation, conversion, customer engagement, and revenue performance.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute an integrated growth marketing strategy across acquisition, conversion, lifecycle marketing, retention, and reactivation.
Partner with senior leadership to establish priorities, budgets, performance targets, and investment decisions.
Build and optimize segmented nurture, re-engagement, and lifecycle campaigns using CRM and marketing automation tools.
Improve lead scoring, routing, campaign cadence, sales handoff, and conversion of existing demand.
Own and optimize marketing technology, data quality, dashboards, attribution, automation, and reporting.
Lead digital growth initiatives across SEO, paid media, landing pages, conversion optimization, retargeting, local search, and emerging AI-search channels.
Establish clear reporting on marketing-sourced pipeline, influenced revenue, conversion, ROI, acquisition cost, and channel performance.
Set the strategic direction for content across web, email, social, video, educational resources, customer stories, and paid campaigns.
Evaluate new technology, AI-enabled tools, and external partners to identify practical opportunities that improve marketing and sales performance.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and leadership to keep marketing priorities aligned with business needs.
What You Bring
7+ years of progressive experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, or a related field.
A track record of connecting marketing programs to pipeline, revenue, conversion, or other measurable outcomes.
Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot or comparable tools.
Strong expertise in segmentation, nurture campaigns, re-engagement, lead scoring, automation, SEO, paid media, and conversion optimization.
Experience with marketing analytics, attribution, dashboards, and executive-level performance reporting.
Strong analytical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to prioritize work based on expected business impact.
Experience partnering with Sales and managing agencies, vendors, consultants, or technical specialists.
A player-coach mindset: comfortable setting strategy while remaining actively involved in execution.
Preferred Experience
Experience in complex, high-consideration, high-volume, or sales-assisted customer journeys.
Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Power BI, Shopify, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
Exposure to AI-enabled marketing or sales tools, conversation intelligence, AI-search optimization, and emerging digital channels.
What Success Looks Like
Success will be measured by meaningful improvements in qualified pipeline, marketing-attributed revenue, lifecycle and reactivation performance, lead-to-opportunity conversion, customer retention, marketing ROI, digital conversion, search visibility, and the quality of marketing reporting and decision-making.
