Huzzle Paid Media Specialist At Huzzle, we connect exceptional talent with top opportunities at leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Our clients include fast-growing startups, digital agencies, SaaS companies, and tech-enabled businesses across industries such as MarTech, FinTech, EdTech, and eCommerce. Unlike traditional outsourcing agencies, we place you directly with innovative companies where you become a valued member of the team.

Job Type: Full-time (Remote, working full UK business hours)

Engagement: Independent Contractor

Our client is a growing UK digital marketing business managing paid media for a portfolio of external agency clients and more than 12 companies within its wider group.

Their focus is primarily on SMEs and local service businesses, so this role is ideal for a Paid Media Specialist who understands how to generate meaningful results with smaller, carefully managed advertising budgets—not someone whose experience is limited to large brands with significant media spend.

The team values accountability, commercial thinking, accurate tracking, and clear communication with clients.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Paid Media Specialist to take ownership of Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns across multiple SME client accounts.

Google Ads will be your immediate and primary focus, with Meta Ads becoming an increasingly important part of the role as additional accounts come online.

This is not a strategy-only position. You'll personally build, audit, restructure, optimize, track, and report on campaigns.

It's also a highly client-facing performance marketing role. You'll be responsible for turning a client's budget and objectives into a structured campaign, accurately tracking results, and personally presenting performance to clients—including explaining what happened and what you're changing when results fall below expectations.

Key Responsibilities Own the day-to-day management of Google Ads campaigns across multiple SME client accounts

Build, audit, restructure, and optimize Google Ads accounts from the ground up

Manage Search, Performance Max, and Display campaigns

Structure campaigns effectively, including account architecture, keyword strategy, and match-type separation

Manage bidding strategies, budgets, and daily spend pacing

Build and verify conversion tracking from scratch using Google Tag Manager

Implement and troubleshoot call and lead conversion tracking

Build and manage Meta Ads campaigns, including Meta Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) implementation

Monitor performance and flag underperforming accounts within 48 hours, rather than waiting for month-end reporting

Produce monthly written performance reports for each account with clear commentary explaining what changed, why it changed, and what happens next

Lead client performance and review calls

Communicate campaign wins, challenges, and underperformance confidently and professionally

Provide weekly internal summaries covering spend, conversions, CPA, and overall account performance

Recommend landing page and conversion-rate improvements based on campaign data

Brief internal creative resources on required ad creative and video assets

Feed paid search insights into organic search and SEO targeting

Maintain accurate daily time records for internal billing

Work with tools including GoHighLevel and Apollo where relevant; significant prospecting or list building is not expected, as target company lists are provided
