Bowery Boost is a women-led, creative-first performance marketing agency working with growing ecommerce brands. We combine paid media, performance creative, and senior strategic thinking to help brands acquire customers and scale profitably.
We are looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager who can independently own client growth strategy across paid media, account performance and creative testing.
This is not a role for someone who waits for a list of tasks or simply reports what happened. The right person identifies opportunities, brings forward recommendations and ensures each account has a clear plan for what happens next.
The Role
You will serve as the strategic owner for a portfolio of ecommerce clients, translating business goals and performance data into actionable paid-media and testing plans.
You will work closely with our paid media and creative teams to ensure media and creative efforts are aligned. You do not need to be a dedicated creative strategist, copywriter or designer, but you must be able to recognize strong creative, identify what is driving performance and turn those insights into clear testing direction.
What You’ll Own
Growth and Paid Media Strategy
Own growth strategy for a portfolio of ecommerce clients across Meta and other relevant paid channels
Translate revenue, profitability and acquisition goals into actionable media plans
Evaluate account structure, budget allocation, audience strategy, campaign performance and scaling opportunities
Monitor CAC, MER, ROAS, conversion rate, new-customer performance and other relevant business metrics
Identify performance risks and opportunities before the client raises them
Develop clear weekly, monthly and quarterly recommendations
Partner with the paid media team to ensure strategy is executed accurately
Maintain a strong understanding of campaign performance rather than relying solely on dashboards or team summaries
Connect paid-media decisions to broader business factors, including promotions, product mix, inventory, landing pages and customer behavior
Creative Testing and Analysis
Analyze high-performing hooks, personas, messages, products, formats and offers to understand what is driving results
Use paid-media data, product reviews, customer feedback, competitive research and brand insights to identify new testing opportunities
Build structured creative testing plans for each assigned client
Translate performance findings into clear direction for designers, editors, creators and content teams
Contribute ideas for new hooks, angles and iterations based on what the data is showing
Partner with the creative team to develop briefs and prioritize production
Review creative for strategic alignment, product accuracy, messaging clarity and paid-social effectiveness
Ensure creative recommendations are connected to a specific hypothesis or learning objective
Identify when winning creative should be iterated, expanded or adapted rather than replaced unnecessarily
Present creative learnings and recommended next steps to clients and internal teams
Serve as a trusted strategic partner to founders and senior marketing leaders
Lead client calls with clear points of view, recommendations and next steps
Explain performance and strategy in direct business language
Bring forward ideas without waiting for the client to request them
Challenge clients thoughtfully when their requested direction conflicts with performance or business goals
Anticipate questions and prepare solutions before issues become escalations
Ensure clients understand what we are testing, why we are testing it and what we learned
Maintain strong relationships while setting realistic expectations
Internal Leadership
Work closely with growth managers, designers, editors, and creators
Create clarity around account priorities, ownership and deadlines
Give direct, useful feedback that helps teams improve the work
Take responsibility for outcomes without waiting for senior leadership to solve routine account problems
Share learnings and frameworks that can improve performance across multiple accounts
Help raise the strategic standard of the broader growth team
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you will:
Take clear strategic ownership of your assigned accounts
Build paid-media and creative testing plans tied to each client’s business goals
Establish strong relationships with clients and internal teams
Consistently bring forward recommendations without being prompted
Identify account risks and growth opportunities before they become urgent
Improve the connection between performance data and creative production
Reduce the amount of senior leadership intervention required on your accounts
Longer term, success means your clients view you as an essential growth partner, your internal teams have clear strategic direction, and your accounts consistently receive proactive leadership.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing and ecommerce
Significant experience managing paid social strategy, particularly Meta
Strong understanding of acquisition metrics, including CAC, MER, ROAS, conversion rate and new-customer performance
Experience analyzing creative performance and building testing plans from the findings
Ability to identify patterns across hooks, personas, customer reviews, products, formats and offers
Ability to move from data to insight, and from insight to a specific action
Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
A track record of independently identifying opportunities and bringing forward ideas
Excellent judgment, organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage several accounts and priorities without constant direction
Comfort working in a fast-moving agency environment with direct accountability
This Role Is Not Right for You If
You prefer receiving a defined list of tasks before beginning your work
You report performance without forming a clear recommendation about what should happen next
You wait for clients or senior leaders to identify opportunities
You can execute campaigns but struggle to connect performance to broader business strategy
You treat creative testing as a volume exercise rather than a structured learning process
You need senior leadership to prepare client recommendations or solve routine account problems for you
Why Bowery Boost
Senior-led, boutique agency with real client impact.
Deep focus on creative strategy + performance, not just media buying.
Clear growth paths and exposure to leadership.
Collaborative, thoughtful team culture.
Opportunity to work with respected fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands.
20 PTO days annually
401(k) with 4% employer match
Summer Fridays + 1 month of remote flexibility in the summer
