Allura Media is hiring a full-time Content & Growth Marketing Associate to support a dedicated client account: an early-stage online marketplace specializing in staffing for architects and engineers.

This person will sit on the Allura Media team but work full-time on one client account as the company’s first dedicated full-time marketing hire. The role offers a unique combination of early-stage ownership and built-in support: the associate will help shape and execute the marketing function from the ground up while working alongside a part-time CMO, founding team members, agency partners, and other marketing resources.

This role is ideal for a marketer with roughly 3 to 5 years of experience who is strongest in content, digital marketing, and campaign execution, with a willingness to learn and grow across paid media, analytics, marketing operations, and startup-style problem solving.

The right person will be a strong writer, organized operator, curious learner, and self-motivated problem solver who is comfortable wearing a few hats while helping build the marketing foundation for a growing company.

Role Structure

Employer: Allura Media

Dedicated Account: Early-stage online staffing marketplace for architects and engineers

Role Type: First full-time marketing hire dedicated to the account

Location: Norwalk, Connecticut

Schedule: Full-time, in-office, standard 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM business hours

Travel: Limited, as needed

Manager: Head of Allura Media, who is also serving as the part-time CMO for the client

Team: Works closely with Allura Media leadership, the client’s founding team, agency partners, creative teams, paid media partners, content partners, and other account stakeholders

Why This Role Matters

The client has a strong strategic foundation, a clear market opportunity, and a team of experienced entrepreneurs and operators behind it. The company now needs a dedicated marketing hire who can help turn that foundation into consistent execution.

This person will help build and manage the content engine, support growth marketing efforts, assist with advertising and analytics, coordinate key marketing workstreams, and help ensure the brand shows up clearly and consistently across channels.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to grow early with a company but not be isolated as a solo marketer. There is already meaningful marketing infrastructure in place, including agency support, strategic leadership, brand direction, paid media work, content development, reporting, and marketing systems. The associate will help bring more of that execution together day to day.

Primary Responsibilities

Content, Resource Center, and Brand Support

Approximately 50% of the role

The largest part of this role will focus on content development, editing, organization, and execution across key marketing channels.

Responsibilities may include

Supporting the launch and ongoing development of a resource center and blog

Drafting, editing, and organizing blog support content, short-form articles, social posts, email content, landing page copy, and related marketing materials

Helping develop and maintain a monthly newsletter

Supporting recurring LinkedIn content and helping bring more social posting activity internal

Turning company ideas, leadership input, transcripts, interviews, AI-assisted drafts, and agency materials into polished marketing content

Helping maintain the content calendar across blog, newsletter, LinkedIn, email, and other channels

Reviewing AI-assisted content for accuracy, tone, clarity, structure, and brand alignment

Helping adapt content for different audiences, including architecture and engineering firms, freelance specialists, industry partners, and broader market stakeholders

This person should be a strong writer and editor. They do not need to be a senior copywriter, but they should be able to turn rough ideas into clear, useful, professional marketing content.

Growth Marketing, Paid Media Support, and Analytics

Approximately 25% of the role

This role will also support digital marketing and advertising efforts. The associate does not need to be a paid media specialist, but should have basic familiarity with platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, and Google, plus a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities may include

Supporting paid media campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google

Helping draft, organize, and review ad copy and campaign creative inputs

Reviewing landing pages, forms, and campaign flows from a content and conversion perspective

Looking at campaign performance data and helping identify patterns, questions, or opportunities

Supporting A/B testing, messaging tests, and campaign optimization efforts

Helping connect content themes to advertising and growth priorities

Reviewing analytics from social media, email, website, landing pages, and campaigns

Helping translate performance insights into content and campaign improvements

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with numbers, dashboards, and performance feedback. They do not need to own paid media strategy, but they should be able to participate in growth conversations and learn how paid, content, email, and landing pages work together.

Marketing Operations, Coordination, and Partner Programs

Approximately 25% of the role

The associate will provide important coordination support across the marketing function, helping keep content, campaigns, assets, approvals, and workstreams organized.

Responsibilities may include

Coordinating timelines, deliverables, approvals, and follow-ups across internal and external teams

Keeping marketing calendars, documents, files, and campaign materials organized

Supporting landing page, email, social, content, and campaign updates

Helping QA emails, landing pages, forms, links, ad copy, social posts, and other marketing materials before launch

Tracking project status and next steps across multiple workstreams

Helping maintain repeatable marketing processes as the team grows

Supporting marketing materials connected to partners, affiliate programs, association programs, and related industry relationships

Assisting with co-branded content, partner-facing materials, announcements, publishing needs, or press releases when relevant

This role will involve a meaningful amount of coordination, but it is not a pure project management role. The associate should be organized enough to keep work moving while still being primarily focused on marketing execution.

AI and Tools

AI will be part of the workflow. The associate does not need to be an advanced AI power user, but they must be comfortable using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms to support drafting, organization, idea generation, and content development.

The key requirement is judgment. This person must be able to review AI-assisted output, improve it, check for accuracy, protect brand standards, and ensure content sounds credible and professional.

Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Figma Make, Canva, Google Workspace, CMS platforms, email marketing tools, HubSpot, analytics dashboards, or project management platforms is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate likely has 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, content, digital marketing, growth marketing, communications, agency, startup, B2B, or professional services work.
