Role Overview

Fractional Growth Marketing Lead at CareMessage – a technology non‑profit building a patient engagement platform for low‑income populations. This role is a contractor engagement of up to 25 hours per week at $100/hour . The role is remote (U.S. only) and supports the company’s mission to improve health equity for low‑income populations across the United States.

Company

CareMessage is a nonprofit in the Healthtech industry. It has reached 22 million patients since 2013 and partners with more than 500 safety‑net organizations in 45+ states and territories.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a multichannel growth marketing strategy and pipeline, translating CareMessage’s ARR, pipeline, and market-development goals into a focused growth plan.

Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, Strategic Partnerships, and executive leadership to impact marketing‑sourced and marketing‑influenced pipeline goals.

Create a quarterly growth calendar integrating campaigns, product priorities, partner activity, conferences, webinars, and market-specific motions.

Identify, test, and scale qualified demand channels across paid search, paid social, retargeting, organic search, SEO/AEO, email, webinars, partner marketing, conferences, content‑led demand, and account‑based marketing.

Establish a disciplined experimentation process with hypotheses, budgets, success criteria, and scale/revision decisions.

Build audience and segment strategies tailored to FQHCs, free and charitable clinics, Tribal and Urban Indian Health, regional networks, payers, ACOs, and other priority markets.

Develop and optimize the conferences and field events approach, ensuring measurable demand, clear pre‑event targeting, onsite goals, lead capture, follow‑up, attribution, and pipeline expectations.

Own the website journey and conversion strategy – landing pages, forms, calls to action, and campaign destinations – using analytics, customer research, and conversion testing to remove buyer‑journey friction.

Partner with Product, Strategy, and Sales to align website messaging with customer needs and product capabilities.

Work with Strategic Partnerships Director to create co‑marketing and demand‑generation programs with PCA, HCCN, EHR and data partners, associations, health plans, ACOs, funders, and other ecosystem partners.

Define and maintain the growth‑marketing measurement framework: channel performance, funnel conversion, lead quality, pipeline contribution, CAC, and ROI.

Collaborate with RevOps to improve HubSpot and CRM workflows, lead scoring, routing, campaign attribution, lifecycle stages, and reporting.

Build dashboards and operating cadences for insights, trade‑offs, and investment decisions.

Use AI and automation to accelerate research, audience development, campaign variation, content repurposing, website testing, workflow execution, reporting, and performance analysis.

Provide actionable insights for messaging, product positioning, channel investment, and customer targeting.

Prepare concise executive‑ready presentations on performance, risks, and trade‑offs.
