Role Description

We are seeking a social media advertising specialist with 2-4 years of experience managing paid advertising campaigns across social media platforms.

The ideal candidate would be a strong writer and data‑driven marketer who understands the technical, strategic and creative sides of paid advertising. They would be comfortable creating content, engaging directly with clients and agency staff members as well as managing campaigns with a focus on ROI. They would be able to stay ahead of emerging social media trends, understand what drives performance, and be eager to expand their expertise into broader paid media channels and integrated marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

communications-oriented bachelor’s degree

minimum of two years of experience managing paid social media campaigns

strong understanding of campaign setup, tracking, pixel implementation, audience development, conversion optimization and A/B testing

strong analytical skills with experience measuring campaign performance, tracking ROI and translating data into actionable recommendations

hands‑on experience with Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and social media management platforms

excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to create compelling ad copy and organic content as well as supporting graphics (ideally through Canva)

experience developing and presenting client-facing reports and performance insights

ability to interact comfortably directly with clients and discuss campaign strategy, performance and recommendations

demonstrated commitment to staying current on social media trends, platform updates, advertising innovations and industry best practices

strong organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

a team-oriented attitude with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to support agency-wide initiatives

Additional Preferred Qualifications

ability to create engaging short‑form video content, including Reels, Stories, TikTok‑style videos and other social‑first creative assets (using video editing platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva or similar tools)

experience with or interest in learning broader paid media channels or a strong interest in learning OTT/CTV, streaming audio, radio, display advertising and other digital media‑buying platforms.

agency experience preferred

Job Duties

develop, launch and manage paid social media campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms to achieve client objectives and performance goals, while staying current with emerging trends.

monitor, analyze and optimize campaign performance, making data‑driven adjustments to improve reach, engagement, lead generation, conversions and overall ROI.

write compelling ad copy for paid and organic social media content, including creating graphics and creative assets that align with campaign objectives and brand standards.

prepare, analyze and present campaign reports, insights and strategic recommendations to clients and internal team members.

serve as a day‑to‑day client contact for assigned accounts, participating in meetings, responding to inquiries and providing updates on campaign performance and strategy.

proactively work with agency media buyer to learn how to select, analyze and report on broader paid media channels within integrated marketing campaigns.
