Working Pattern & Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Hybrid/Flexible (Office located: London, SE1)
Reporting into the Marketing Director, the Paid Social Lead sits within the Marketing function, as part of the Acquisition team, and is responsible for owning and scaling Chemist4U’s paid social performance across all relevant platforms.
This is a senior, hands on role with full accountability for strategy, optimisation, measurement and reporting across paid social channels, operating within the constraints of regulated pharmaceutical advertising and Meta’s Health & Wellbeing policies.
Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Paid Social specialist to lead performance across platforms like Meta, driving efficient customer acquisition and scalable growth. This role focuses on optimisation, testing and data driven decision making, while ensuring campaigns align with the wider customer journey and meet regulatory standards.
• Own the end to end paid social strategy across Meta and other relevant social platforms, with a clear focus on profitable customer acquisition and sustainable scale
• Develop and execute a robust optimisation and testing roadmap, covering creative, audiences, bidding strategies, account structure and funnel sequencing
• Lead paid social activity across the full funnel, balancing prospecting, consideration and permitted retargeting approaches within platform and regulatory constraints
• Take full ownership of paid social reporting, including the maintenance, accuracy and enrichment of tagging frameworks (UTMs, pixels, server side solutions where applicable)
• Design and maintain alternative measurement and insight frameworks to account for Meta Health & Wellbeing reporting limitations, including proxy KPIs and blended performance metrics
• Partner closely with internal Creative, CRO, Data and Tech teams to ensure paid social campaigns align with landing pages, conversion journeys and on site experience
• Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders, supporting budget decisions and channel investment strategy
• Stay ahead of platform changes, policy updates and industry trends, particularly those impacting healthcare, pharmacy and weight loss advertising
• Work closely with platform partners and external suppliers where appropriate to unlock best practice, betas and strategic support
• Ensure all campaigns adhere to regulatory, compliance and brand guidelines, maintaining high standards of governance and risk management.
About You
We’re looking for a commercially minded performance marketer who blends strategic thinking with hands on execution. You’re analytical, adaptable and confident working in complex, restricted environments, using data and insight to drive decisions. A strong collaborator, you take ownership of performance and thrive in fast paced, growth focused teams.
• You are a commercially minded performance marketer who combines strategic thinking with deep hands on execution
• Comfortable operating in highly restricted advertising environments, you’re pragmatic, adaptable and solutions oriented when traditional tracking or retargeting methods are unavailable
• Highly analytical, you enjoy interrogating data, building insight narratives and using imperfect signals to guide smart decision making
• You’re confident owning a channel end to end and influencing senior stakeholders with clear, evidence based recommendations
• Collaborative by nature, you work effectively across creative, technical and commercial teams to drive shared outcomes
• You thrive in fast paced, growth focused environments and take genuine ownership of performance and results.
Qualifications & Experience
We’re looking for a Paid Social specialist with strong performance marketing experience, ideally in regulated sectors. You bring deep Meta expertise, a data driven mindset, and the ability to deliver results while balancing compliance and commercial goals.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in performance marketing, with deep, hands‑on expertise in paid social
• Essential: Previous experience working for a pharmaceutical, healthcare or regulated health & wellness business, ideally within the weight‑loss sector
• Proven track record operating under Meta Health & Wellbeing restrictions, including loss of lower‑funnel event reporting and retargeting limitations
• Strong understanding of alternative measurement and optimisation approaches when purchase‑level data is restricted
• Experience working within a D2C e‑commerce environment, with clear accountability for acquisition efficiency and commercial outcomes
• Advanced knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, campaign structure, creative testing frameworks and audience strategies
• Demonstrated experience owning and evolving tagging, tracking and reporting solutions in collaboration with analytics or engineering teams
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present performance insights clearly to senior stakeholders
• Comfortable balancing compliance, brand protection and growth in a regulated advertising landscape.
